The Co-ordinates Chardonnay 2023, Ormond, Gisborne

Very polished silver and green with a pale straw hue. Aromas of fresh white peach and apple, there’s a ;ayer of ripe grapefruit flesh and peel then a lees and barrel spice complexity. Dry on the palate with a rounded almost creamy satin touch, flavours of stone fruits and pomaceous fruits follow with moderate+ intensity. Acidity and alcohol along with layers of wood spice and tannins frame the fruit core very nicely. Balanced and well made with best drinking from day of purchase through 2029.
