8K Ancient Red, Georgia

Dark red core with a lighter red rim leads to aromas of dark red berries, and Doris plums. There’s some savoury qualities, tar and leather then black currant and some earth smoke of clay. Dry, ripe and fruity with a fleshy texture then fruit tannins and backbone of acidity. A lovely wine with flavours that are persistent, fresh and lead to a balanced and even finish. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2029.
