Walnut Block 'Nutcracker' Chardonnay 2024, Marlborough

A lovely wine from beginning finish with a satin cream texture, flavours of white fleshed stone fruit and citrus then a fine spice from French oak and framed by a backbone of acidity. Flavours of peach and apple, grapefruit flesh and a stony mineral quality. An excellent texture and balanced with persistent fruit flavours and fine wood seam with a touch of flint. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2029.
