Very good colour and bouquet, both classic. Aromas and flavours of red , fresh and sour cherry. There’s a red apple and preserved cherry quality as well then rose and red currant. On the palate a dry wine with a taut and slightly firm palate squeeze, plenty of fine tannins and acidity deliver the correct and almost bracing mouthfeel. Flavours and textures are persistent leading to a decent finish and complexity. Best from day of purchase through 2030+.
