Monte Christo Winery Pinot Gris 2025, Central Otago

Complex, fruity, varietal and very enticing bouquet. Aromas and flavours of wild white flowers, citrus pith and mandarin flower. Dry on the palate and as the wine opens out in glass the flavours of apple and green pear along with a white peppercorn quality begin to emerge. Fruity, crisp and dry on the finish, a lovely example best enjoyed alongside food while it matures, then from 2028 on its own for two years.
