Brockenchack Jack Harrison Single Vineyard Shiraz 2016, Eden Valley, Barossa
A bold and distinctive bouquet with aromas of baking spices and black currant, there’s a fleshy dark plum, blackberry and sweet licorice suggestion, violets and clay. Dry, lots of texture from tannins and acidity, a core of dark berry and blackcurrant flavours, a lick of prune then warming alcohol and some toasty spices from barrel. Well made, dry on the finish and lots of concentration. Still ageing and developing with best drinking from day of purchase through 2030.
