Whitehaven Greg Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2024, Awatere Valley, Marlborough

Aromas and flavours of pomaceous, citrus and tropical fruits led by pineapple and apple then grapefruit and lime. An excellent weight and mouthfeel with a taut backbone of acidity and layers of mineral sea spray and fresh sage. Dry on the finish with decent length and concentration. A wine best suited as an aperitif or with fresh Marlborough mussels strain off the barbeque with a big squeeze of lemon. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2028.
