Champagne Lombard Brut Nature Grand Cru Cramant, France

A complex and deeply fragrant bouquet led by white flowers, then autolysis scents of baked goods, a saline quality then aromas of citrus and white fleshed fruits. Delicious on the palate, taut, tart, crisp and dry to very dry. Flavours of grapefruit and lemon, apple and chalk. The mousse is tense at first then lets go as the wine begins to warm on the palate. Fine bubble, a back bone of acidity, a definitive aperitif expression. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2030+.
