Fincas de Azabache 'Culto' Graciano 2021, Rioja, Spain

An engaging bouquet beginning with earthy baking spices then dark plums and blackberry. There’s some noticeable use of barrel, yet this seams well placed and frames the fruit and earthy qualities very nicely. Dry on the palate with textures from dusty tannins and medium+ acid line. Flavours are persistent with dark berries and plums dominating. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2029.
