TWR Single Vineyard Pinot Noir 2019, Marlborough

Complex and youthful, taut and dry, a wine of texture as much as it is of fruit, I feel this is a voice of place as much as it is style that Anna and Jason like to showcase. The fruit handling with a core of freshness and fine savoury seams not only add complexity, they speak to the slightly wild side of Marlborough as a place to grow fruit. An abundance of polished tannins and backbone of acidity, the core of fruit flavours soak up all. Oak sits well just enough in the background not to standout adding texture and complexity. A delicious wine best enjoyed from mid to late 2024 through 2034.
