Deep golden hues with a copper tinge and shiny polished appearance. Aromas of honey and honeyed fruits, quince and baked apple, beeswax and treacle, apricot and caramel. Thick-cream and silk texture with weight and intensity coat the palate first then contrasting acidity alongside flavours that reflect the bouquet deliver with intensity and power. Delicious, fresh, cream and sweet. A wine perfect for spicy soups or very sweet dessert. I’m thinking sticky-date pudding with caramel sauce and ice-cream. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2028+
