Burn Cottage Vineyard Pinot Noir 2018, Central Otago

I reviewed this wine on November 8th, 2020 and it’s great to be able to try this wine again today. Still an excellent wine with aromas of a complete wine with seamless transitions between fruit, mineral and winemaking. Cherry and red apple, baking spice and dried herb complexities, an abundance of fine tannins with a youthful firmness still evident, but adding to the refinement and pure pinosity this vineyard delivers. Harmonious, lengthy, fruity and distinctively pure. A wine that will reward if cellared till 2024, but also drinkable today an through 2028+.
