This expertly crafted wine - made by master winemaker James Rowan - showcases aromas of fresh red and dark plum, boysenberry, dark roses and milk chocolate. Judicious use of oak layers through baking spices and toasty barrel scents. Overall fine and pure. On the palate - youthful, fresh, textured, fruity and dry. Flavours of fresh berries, plums, flowers, oak and chocolate fill the plate. Contrasting acidity and firm youthful tannins suggest cellar time is needed to integrate the attributes. Nice lengthy finish, well made and will reward those who can wait. Best drinking from mid 2022 through 2026+.
