Tiki Koro Chardonnay 2019, Hawkes Bay

Smooth, creamy and silky textured bouquet with aromas of fresh California peach and apple, smoky French oak and baking spices. On the palate - dry, full-bodied, youthful, tense and fruity with a dry finish. Flavours of yellow stone fruits, Brazil-nut, apple and new oak dominate the palate. Medium+ acidity, some fine wood tannins and a core of fruit carry this through a fairly lengthy finish. Well made, needs some cellar time still with best drinking from 2021 through 2025. RRP $34.99
