Dark berries, black currant and raspberry, smoky wood, peppercorn and baking spices immediately invade the senses with an understated complexity. Equally complex and youthful on the palate with flavours that reflect the sweeter side of raspberry and plum, black currant then dark spices and peppery varietal core. Firm tannins and medium+ add in a lovely mouthfeel and complexity. Well made and drinking nicely after 3 days opens. Best drinking from mid to late 2021 through 2025+.
