Stonecroft Undressed Syrah 2018 Gimblett Gravels, Hawkes Bay

A youthful, fruity and forward bouquet of Syrah packed with ripe red berry fruits of baked raspberry and black currant, red liquorice, pepper and a moment of anise, oak and toasty wood spices. Dry with a firm structure showing off a core of red berry fruits, abundant acidity and flavours that reflect the nose. Firm tannins and acidity underpin a sound structure adding to a lengthy finish. A lovely wine to pair with your favourite high protein dish, decant for service or cellar till 2021 then imbibe.
