Greywacke Chardonnay 2016 Marlborough

A complete bouquet of Chardonnay - smoky and mysterious, wet stone and gun flint, white peach, sweet lemon sweet flowers and oak scents of cashew and sweet spicy vanillin. Overall complex and seductive. Dry on the palate with fruit flavours that reflect the nose as a medley of white stone and crisp sweet and sour apple then noticeable spices and flavours or oak. A fine fine tannin texture, medium acidity and long finish with complexity and loads of charm. A delicious wine. Great day one, two and three. Best from today and through 2024.
