Pyramid Valley North Canterbury “Orange” 2018
Copper orange hues in the glass with aromas and flavours of apricot and marmalade, saffron and saline soaked apple. Weighty, firm, crisp and dry on the palate with a texture that transitions quickly from silk to satin to tannin rich and dry. Some fruit flavours return adding length to the finish. Well made, an intriguing wine. For me best enjoyed with dishes such as like Paella or Hangi Pork and Puha. Drink all once the bottle is open. Best from today and through 2022.
