Amisfield Pinot Noir 2016 Central Otago

Bright, fresh, fruity, youthful and varietal. Bold and distinctive aromas of fresh red cherry, red apple skin and raspberry. Layers of fine oak spice and gentle toastiness add complexity. Crushed dark rose scent adds further appeal. Dry, textured and youthfully fresh with medium+ acidity, fresh red fruit flavours and fine to moderate tannins; a youthful bite and tension will subside as the wine matures. Well-made and will reward those who can wait. Best from 2020 through 2030.
