Man O' War Exiled Pinot Gris 2017 Waiheke & Ponui Islands

Rich and fruity bouquet with baked pear and apple core, honeysuckle and spice note.  A layer of non-fruit aromas center on the the use of lee and perhaps some skin contact. Just off-dry on the palate showing some initial sweetness then transitioning into a drier finish. Weighty with a light creamy texture and back palate tension, moderate acidity and lengthy finish. Drink now and through 2020.
