Quite a complex bouquet with a Bordeaux red blend-like aroma package. Baked blackberry, black currant and plum aromas laced with a healthy layer of oak and toasty oak spice suggestions. Aromas of violet and blackberry from the Franc speak loudly. Dry, flavourful and textured with a youthful firm tannic grip, youthful acid line and warming alcohol set against oak and ripe fruit moments. A wine needing cellar time still with the package pf textures and flavours yet to be fully resolved. A wine that will mature well. Best from 2022 through 2032.
