Rock Ferry Trig Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir 2014 Central Otago

Intense, varietal, smoky and fruity with brown baking spices of clove and cinnamon, some vanilla. Plum and dark cherry, whiff of alcohol. Dry on the palate with firm flavours and textures. Dark berries and plum, vanilla and baking spice, medium+ acidity accentuates a savoury earthy quality, firm youthful tannins. Medium+ length. A wine still developing and harmonizing. Best drinking from 2019 through 2026.
