Fruit for this wine comes from Nelson, Chardonnay (78%) and Pinot Noir blend. After 6 years on lees the wine is definitely ready to enjoy. Aromas and flavours of brioche, white peach, apple and a core of autolysis. Gentle nutty layer reminiscent of almond butter then a lees autolysis spice adds depth and complexity. Fine mousse, plenty of acidity, an elegant expression, fresh, youthful and balanced. With a little over 8 grams RS the wine has weight and a gentle creamy texture. Just dry on the finish.
